Located on the Neretva River, Mostar is the fifth-largest city in the country. Mostar get its name based on the bridge keepers (mostari) who used to guard Stari Most. It is the administrative center of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton. This small city attracts a lot of tourists per year.

Mostar is famous for Old Bridge that has been a symbol for Mostar. The Old Bridge is an example of Islamic architecture in Balkan. Tourist spend their time on the Old Bridge that spanned Neretva River. Due to some destruction, the Old Bridge was rebuild and completed in 2004.
