Day 1 - Arrive in Tashkent International Airport and City Tour

Arrive in Tashkent International Airport

  • Once you have arrived at the airport, you will be having breakfast at a local cafe

Tashkent city tour

In this city tour, you will be visiting: 

  • Independence Square: The main square of Uzbekistan. Built as a symbol of victory over fascism in World War II
  • Local Broadway: Walking distance from independence Square. You can find Amir Timur monument and street artists here
  • Tashkent Metro: Stunningly beautiful designed metro stations. First-line was opened in 1977

Islamic tour

Visit the oldest parts of the city which includes: 

  • Chorsu Bazaar, 
  • Kukaldash Madrasah
  • Hast Imam 

You will also be visiting several madrasahs, mosques and mausoleum. The highlight of its exhibits is the Othman Quran which is the world’s oldest Quran copy once belonged to Othman Ibn Affan, the Third Caliph (of the four righteous Caliphs who succeeded the Prophet Muhammad p.b.u.h)

Day 2 - Full Day Tour of Inchan-Qala

Begin Inchan-Qala tour

Inchan-Qala is the oldest city of Uzbekistan. This protected world heritage site is an the inner city inside of Khiva. Surrounded with strong walls,  this centuries-old building houses palaces, mosques, Madrasahs, Mausoleums, Minarets, Caravan-Sarais and bathhouses transformed Ichan-Qala into a unique city inside a city!

Continue with Inchan-Qala tour

Visit one of the most remarkable site in Inchan-Qala, is the Kunya-Ark fortress. Dating back to the 17th century, it was founded by Muhammad Arang Khan. It features stunning sites such as Kalta Minor minaret and Tash Khouvli palace, an incredible sample of Khorezm architectural mastership of the 1830s.

Day 3 - Head to Bukhara

  • This journey will take approximately 7 hours
  • The road from Khiva to Bukhara goes through the famous Kizilkum desert. On the way, we will enjoy the view to Amu Darya river, the deepest river in Central Asia

  • Shakhi-Zindeh - Architectural complex of Shakhi- Zindeh represents a big collection of mausoleums dating back to 11th - 15 centuries being a part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site
  • Bibi Khanum Mosque -  Bibi Khanum Mosque was built in honour of favourite Tamerlane’s wife, after his successful campaign in India.
